What a difference a year makes. As I sat writing this letter, I had to reflect on the last time I wrote our year end blog post in December of 2019. At year end we are busy setting goals for the following year. From personal development, to sales goals, or saving for a new piece of equipment, we have something we are going to work towards. I promise you any predictions I had for 2020 at that time turned out to be entirely wrong. This year has taken those goals and turned them on their head. In a way I am thankful for that.
For me, 2020 was a year to be thankful for what we have. In all the turmoil and tough decisions we have had to make, there were some constants. We are thankful for our customers, our vendors, and our employees. Our customers worked with us as we instituted new policies and safeguards. Our vendors worked with us as we faced supply chain issues. Our employees showed up and worked hard everyday despite all of the uncertainty. Everyone rose to the occasion to make the best of a crazy year.
I have hope that when I write my year end letter it will be in entirely different circumstances. I’m sure 2021 will throw some curveballs, but I know that we’ve got a team that’s ready for the challenge. We’ve got vendors who are ready to support us. We’ve got great customers who we’re proud to serve. For that, I am thankful!
Best Wishes and Happy Holidays from everyone at Weaver Energy!
