a season of thankfulness

the Lititz square at Christmas, during the 1940’s

It seems appropriate that I write this after the Thanksgiving holiday and prior to Christmas.  We are in the midst of a season of thankfulness and we truly have a lot to be grateful for.  We welcomed four new staff members to our team and added some new equipment to accommodate our expanding customer base.  Our second fueling station opened in Ephrata mid-year, adding another option for our fleet card customers.  We were also fortunate enough to be #57 on the CPBJ Top 100 Private Companies in Lancaster County.

In 2020 we will celebrate 25 years in business and I suppose you could say I grew up with oil in my blood.  My grandfather founded and ran an oil company from 1963 Until 1988.  After a brief stint at another local energy company, my father started Weaver Energy (then KE Weaver Petroleum) in April of 1995.  It was a leap of faith to start a company with no customer base and two employees, but we celebrate his success in placing the cornerstone for the company we are today.  To that end, we wouldn’t be where we are without our customers.    We are thankful for you and proud that you trust us to work in your homes and businesses.

I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas season.  We look forward to continuing to serve you in 2020 and wish you the best in the New Year!

Warmly,

Shane A. Weaver

President
